Mendoza is famous for producing the world finest Malbec. While wine has been made in Mendoza for over 400 years, only recently, have the higher and cooler vineyard sights in the Uco Valley been identified as some of the best. The cooler climate results in a longer growing season which assists in developing flavour complexity and fine ripe tannins. This wine was made from closely spaced low yielding vines which produce wines with great depth. Grapes were hand-picked and hand sorted to ensure only the best fruit goes into our limited release wines.
A full-bodied style Malbec with rich sweet cherry flavours and underlying spice notes. Fruit weight is beautifully balanced with natural acid and well integrated French oak. The finish shows a fine yet robust tannin structure with lingering dark berry flavours.
