Japan's first Master of Wine (MW) Ned Goodwin returns to Ocean Room this October to educate diners about the art of marrying fine Argentinian wines with Japanese cuisine, in a series of exclusive dinner events. "My generation don't want to be sold mass produced products," says Tom Egan, 30, one of three winemakers behind the Jed label.

"They want something that they can relate to, that there is a story to."

That story for generation Jed - Blair Poytnon, Rob Bates-Smith and Tom, started in Western Australia where they studied oenology.

The winemakers eventually went their separate ways, learning winemaking skills across the globe, before starting their own venture, using their comparative youth as an advantage.

 Transient Diner turned out a cracker on Friday night. Jed Wines paired with each course. For those of you who haven't yet.... go... it's like half way between a really good dinner party and your favourite restaurant.
